Constant Happy Birthdays.
So yesterday was my lola's (grandmother) birthday, she turned 75. It wasn't the best day to celebrate since she has Alzheimer's disease. When we asked her how old she was she said she was 60, which is actually 15 years behind. Also we sang happy birthday to her every 5 minutes, and every time she would be saying "who's birthday is it?" So yeah it was pretty upsetting. Not only does her memory not work anymore, she constantly lies to us and tries stealing my clothes, jewelry, money etc. What's even more sad is that we asked her who her siblings were, and she couldn't even remember. Its weird how the brain works, how could you forget the people you grew up with? The people who took care of you? It questions me. There was more chaos, around 10pm also, my lola claimed that our house was actually her house and tried kicking out my mom. My mom fought back, and there was just a bunch of yelling that I couldn't get back to sleep. So there's my pathetic story about my lola, and actually I want to find a cure.. And fast.
